RULES

Failsafe Test

In order to fly at FPV Circus, all the drones you are taking on site must pass a fail-safe check. This means your radio must be set up so that your drone drops from the sky at loss of radio signal.

 

Before arriving at the check-in area, make sure all your drones meet the following criteria:

  • Make sure your props are removed from your quads

  • Have a charged battery for your quad ready to plug in

  • Radio transmitter ready to go

 

When instructed by the volunteers running the Fail Safe check in, you will:

  • Power up your radio and select the correct model being tested

  • Arm your quad so your motors spin

  • Turn off your radio

  • Motors should stop spinning

  • If motors stop spinning, turn your radio back on

  • Arm/Disarm your quad

  • Unplug quad

 

This Fail Safe check MUST pass for every quad you intend to fly at the Circus.

Insurance and License

We hereby inform all participants of our event that pilots are solely responsible for any damages caused by the operation of their drone. Therefore, it is essential that all pilots possess valid liability insurance that covers potential damages.

Please note that without such insurance, participation in the event is not permitted. This measure is in place to protect all parties involved and to avoid financial risks in the event of damage.

Conduct

Attendees must act in a safe and respectful manner. Any individuals acting in a way that jeopardizes the safety or enjoyment of others may be ejected from the Circus.

Flight Conduct & Safety

Pilots must only operate their drones when on the flight line and it’s their turn to do so.

All drones must complete the failsafe check before flying.

Participation & Prizes

Ticket purchase automatically entitles pilots to participate in challenges. Winners will be determined based on performance and the final decision lies with the event organizers. All pilots must register before flying.

This is a drug free Event
